IP-LINK
The IP-Link is a long range Ethernet pipeline that brings “last
mile” TCP/IP, UDP and other Ethernet protocols wirelessly
to places unreachable with high speed connections.
Fully equipped with shared key encryption, firewall,
and both IP and MAC address routing the IP-Link converts SATELLINE
radio modems into long range wireless Ethernet gateway routers.
Advanced networking and routing features redefine narrowband long
range communications specifically for the needs of Ethernet by
preventing lost packets, reducing packet sizes, compressing data,
and providing a dedicated network capable of spanning hundreds
of miles with data throughput up to 19,200 bps.
Connecting
directly to SATELLINE radio modems the IP-Link features a 9-pin,
RS-232 port for configuration of both the module and the radio
modem and an RJ-45 port for connection to local devices, a hub,
or gateway. User configured routes prevent connection from any device in a network that is
not specifically granted access to the radio link.
The IP-Link creates an Ethernet radio network to connect
IP based Ethernet devices to WAN & LAN networks.
