RS-232
SATELLINE radio modems speak serial data
as a native language.
RS-232 (485 & 422) connections require nothing more than
proper wiring and letting the radio know what to expect.
RS-232
cables are available to order in 1 and 2 meter, or custom lengths
with 9-pin, 25-pin, circular, watertight, or RJ-45 formats, with or without handshaking
lines, with male or female type connectors, and wiring configurations
supporting either DTE (standard) or DCE configuration (null modem
connection to radio).
